Rubiholic. :))

Rubi is the story of a woman full of secrets that will destroy the lives of the people closest to her heart once the truth comes out. As someone who’s fed up with her family’s poverty-stricken life, Rubi learns how to play her cards right to get what she wants even at the expense of her loved ones.

HAHAHA! wala lang. It's just when i saw her, natutuwa ako. Ang galing nya kasi. SOBRA! She act super natural which is so nice! :)) Naging Rubiholic talaga ko. And it is proven by all of my friends (alam na alam na nila yon). All the characters we're so great and wonderful. They've tried so hard to make the most out of it. And it's all WORTH doing. HAHAHA! Nakakahanga ang ABS-CBN as well as the Actors and Actresses sa pag gawa nang mga ganyang bagay nuh?! I Love You Angelica! este Rubi. Two Thumbs up for you. :)

FINGERPRINT

August 13, 2010, Friday, The last day for registration in our municipality for Election became memorable for me. I have this schedule of one subject (4:30-7:30pm) every friday. But since our professor wasn't able to come and teach us, she just gave us task to do and it's so freakin hard! making my day into a mess because of those diagrammatic and algorithm paper works about Congestive Heart Failure and Coronary Artery Disease without the use of any books! I came home late (around 9pm) because we are instructed to pass our papers no matter what happen on that day unless we will get zero. While I'm enjoying watching the ending of my favorite Teleserye in ABS-CBN entitled RUBI, my father told me that the last day of the registration for the election is also by that very moment. I was shocked because I thought it is extended up to the Sunday evening. I really don't know what to do because my father is forcing me to stop watching Rubi then go to our municipal hall for registration. (Syempre tinapos ko muna ang Rubi. RUBIHOLIC ee. di ku papalagpasin yun. Last episode na ee. :>) HAHAHAA!

Anyway, di ako nagsisisi kahit di ako nakatulog that time. The thing here is, now, I am registered and one of those Filipinos who can perform their roles during the election to vote whoever they want and think is deserving..

Autism

Well this is actually not about the people with Autism. It's all about the person who act like AUTISTIC. nyahahaha! As you can see in the picture, it seems that I am one of those special child. isn't it nice?lolz. But wait, may I just clarify that "AUTISM" must not be misunderstood and give a negative connotation on us. I have this research about autism/down syndrome. And I found out that there are children with Autism who is actually bright and fast learner. and it's cool right? Then I realized that we must admire them because of their capabilities and not to curse them because of their disabilities.
Anyway, back to me. HAHA!Sometimes, I have this childish moves that's why some of my friends used to call me autistic. hehe. they are enjoying calling me that way. I have no worries about that. why? Because all of us are just THE SAME. nyahaha! peace friends! I love you and I miss you all! :)

You’re not asleep, but you’re not awake either. What’s the word for that mysterious feeling?

A hypnic jerk is someone you wouldn’t want to share a cab with, right? Actually, it is a feeling that many of us experience nightly.

In “Inception” the dream travelers move from dream to dream via a “kick,” which is like a hypnic jerk. Sleep starts, night starts, or hypnagogic jerks are also names for the feeling of an involuntary myoclonic twitch that happens just as we’re beginning to fall asleep. Myoclonus is when our muscles move suddenly, without any rhythm or pattern. (Find out if the word “inception” actually has anything to do with dreaming, right here.)

Hypnnic jerks happen during hypnagogia, which is a state that occurs between sleep and being fully awake. Some of history’s great thinkers and writers, including Aristotle, and in more recent times, Edgar Allan Poe, have pondered hypnagogia.

Hypnagogic is related to drowsiness, which we often feel profoundly when we are on the brink of sleep. The word drowsy comes from the Old English drusan or drusian, which means “sink” and “to become low, slow, or inactive.”

Interested in more thoughts on sleep and dreams? Read our post in which we discuss oneiromancy, the practice of predicting the future through the interpretation of dreams.

Had any dreams with words in them recently? Those are called hypnagogic images. Share them, and perhaps you can gain some insight from the collective wisdom of your fellow readers.

SMILE. :)

yan. maraming nagtatanung kung bkt daw npka masayahin ko. bkt daw palangiti ako. uh... Actually, there are so many reasons to smile. My family who is always there to guide me and my friends who is actually always make my day complete. nagkakarun daw ba ko nang problema? dagdag pa. NAMAN! lahat nang tao me problema. But if you will learn how to deal with it appropriately, I'm sure matututunan mo rin ngumiti. huwag mong masyadung pasanin ang mundo. Katulad nang palagi kong sinasabi, "Every person has an Impact to another" (by Patch Adams) In every single moves, nkaka'apekto ka nang ibang tao. even if it's in a small way or in a big way. I might say also that smiling is my simple way to say that I am approachable and generous. so why don't smile?! SMILE! always make this world happy and colorful with your simple but meaningful SMILE. :)

Exercise Fights Cancer

Cancer patients looking to tackle their illness head-on are turning to exercise in droves. Regular workouts help to reduce the fatigue and nausea associated with chemotherapy; increase appetite; improve muscle tone and stamina; and reduce the pain of cancer thanks to the release of endorphins – opiate-like painkilling chemicals. Then there is the staggering effect exercise has on long-term recovery. The Journal of Clinical Oncology reports even modest amounts increase survival by 50-60%, with the strongest evidence currently for breast and colorectal cancers. “Five years ago, oncologists were divided, some believing exercise was downright dangerous for cancer patients,” says Professor Rob Newton of Edith Cowan University in Western Australia, a leading researcher in the field. The evidence that exercise is safe is now so strong that “the thinking has changed markedly”, says Newton. “Many oncologists now believe exercise is absolutely necessary for a patient’s recovery.”
